Marcie the Bulldog Princess

About this tattoo though:

"sessan" is Swedish, and means princess. But the whole idea for this came from watching Cartoon Network one day: me and my boyfriend aren't too fond of the Norwegian dubs, so we've switched the language to English on that channel, but since it's the scandinavian version of CN that means the commercials will be in, like, Finnish, Swedish, Danish and sometimes Norwegian. So, anyhow.. We saw a commercial about Adventure Time where the Ice King sings a song about all the princesses he likes. That commercial was in Swedish, and he kept adding "-sessan" to everything, like "Jordgubbsessan" (Strawberryprincess) and others.. I don't remember them all, but I thought it was adorable to call them "sessan" instead of "prinsessan"..! And - here's the thing - our French Bulldog is named after Marceline the Vampire Queen from Adventure Time, so it was only natural to give our Marcie the nickname "Bulldog-sessan"! It was either that or "Marceline the Bulldog Queen", but "Bulldog-sessan" is way cuter <3

The princess crown on Marcie is just hanging around her ear to show that, yes, she's sort of a princess, the princess of the house, you know? But at the same time she's a really tough little girl, so I'm guessing if she could talk, and we'd asked her about the whole princess thing, she'd go: "Princess?? No way, I'm too cool to be some sort of pampered little princess...!" At the same time as she likes being treated like royalty now and then and, well, she's our little princess

So that's why I didn't draw her with the crown on top of her head, and why the background is sky blue and not pink (the sky blue symbolizes how she loves being outside in the lovely nature we have here ), and stuff... there's quite some symbolism in this, because I'm a sucker for symbolism... x3

I'll stop babbling now... but I wanted to show this to you guys. I hope you like it
