Ray has previously been portraited as this happy fella who's always smiling. And while he is a sweet and nice guy, he is more than just 'all smiles'..
He has his struggles, things that would normally make it very hard to put on a smile.

I don't think I should write too much about Ray right now (don't wanna spoil things for the novel ;) ), just that I've been working more on him as a character, as a person, and I've dug deeper into his mind and stuff... He's grown to become one of my favorite characters that I have. I love writing about him. :aww: :la:

It's actually my very first deviation of 2013..! :o

(also, yes, I know the pose and colors might look very similar to an earlier drawing I made of Spike, but I just wanted to do one with Ray as well :meow: )

I love the perspective; he's so cool :D I'm confused though, what color are his eyes? I've seen them green like this, but also blue in some of your other drawings of him.
