Spike tatto design thingy

For quite some time now, I've wanted a tattoo of Spike. This is not out of selfishness at all; Spike is a character that's meant a lot to me throughout the years of his "existence". He was also one of my first OC's, or at least my most precious one, and also he symbolizes a lot of things that are meaningful to me. Too many things to be listed here..

I did plan to get this particular drawing tattooed on my upper arm, but.. after photoshopping it onto my arm (I took a photo of my arm and copy-pasted the design onto my arm) I realized this wouldn't look very good as a tattoo, design-wise..
I tried one where he's got larger wings that are wrapped around him, sort of like a cocoon only not touching him. But me and my boyfriend agreed that this design just looked too depressing to have on an arm. So, I made a new design. One which I won't post here, afraid that someone will steal it.. (I'm afraid people are gonna steal this one too, hence the watermark.. XD )

So, well, I kind of like this design, just not as a tattoo.
In the new design I made today, he's still got his dark wings, only much much larger, and sort of wrapped around him. It's more positive than this one, but still kinda deep. It's based on my deviation which I think I named "feathers" where Spike is sitting on the ground, holding a feather in front of him. The runes/text in the picture reads "feathers, not fur, and I would be able to fly away from here".. It's a bit of a mix between "feathers" and the deviation "angel of torment" which can be seen in my NocturnalMoTH account.
