anatomy practice - back

some of you noticed and told me that I've forgotten something very important in this drawing: Spike's scars.
I just can't believe I actually forgot them! ;__; and now I'm realizing this isn't the first time I've forgotten to draw them. What's wrong with me!!? Dx (lol)
I think the reason is that I haven't drawn his back a lot. I think this is my fourth time or so, ever, to have drawn his back.. and I think that the scars are visible in only one of those drawings.. v__v'

I want to thank those of my watchers who made me aware of that error, so that I could go back and fix it :3 It makes me happy that you guys know my character(s) well enough to actually notice such things.. I mean, wow! *applause*
I learn the hard way XD so I don't think I'll be forgetting his scars after this..

moar anatomy practice! D:

I've drawn torsos a lot, but not the back of the torso, and the back of the arms and legs. So I wanted to try and learn it. I came up with the pose, then I used my anatomy book as reference when it comes to how the muscles look and stuff..
I obsess a little over details sometimes, so I actually overdid it - made him look all bulky and stuff. So went over my drawing with an eraser, tried to calm down the bulging muscles, lol, and make the body look more like it could belong to Spike. Cos yes, that's Spike, holding a bird with a crippled wing.
Spike is skinny but strong, so I think he would look pretty much like this. ('cept I think his lower legs are a bit thick... o_O )

aaanyhoo..

not too happy with how this turned out, but I've learned a lot about anatomy today :3
