it's not done yet! I just ran out of dance-moves for this character to preform... He's supposed to start out doing some slow, elegant dance moves, before he starts dancing a little more "wildly"
Who "he" is, I won't say just yet, because I want it to be a surprise. It's not one of my own characters though. This is gonna be a fan animation, if I ever finish it
It's gonna take a heck of a lot of work to finish this This is step 1: sketching and planning. (yes, I plan while I animate - which I know is probably stupid.) step 2 is line art, then step three is coloring. Then there's the whole timing thing with getting the pace right.. -__-'
facts: I animate in Photoshop CS3. So far, this is 105 frames long, and looping.
It's a very cute design and I think if you play a bit with the timing (it's very even right now) it'll be really nice.
Why don't you play a bit more with the body? It stays very upright and straight and the head doesn't move much either, you could get some nice arcs in there to make it more lively.
I save it as a gif file And since it's a gif, it won't go in the Flash category, but if I remember correctly there's an animation option somewhere in the Digital Art category I hope this helps

What type of file format do you save your animations as?
I've been trying and trying to upload an animation, and it won't work.
Everything suggests to save it as a gif.
I do, but then I try to put it in the Flash>Animation category but it won't allow it.
If you can help, that would be nice ; . ;
If you can't I COMPLETELY understand.
Love your art by the way~
I hope this helps
