my second attempt on drawing this:

I kinda like this one the most, although I sort of like the atmosphere in the previous one too..

I was originally going to name this and the previous deviation "My Guardian Demon", but I remembered I already have a sketch somewhere with that title. Still, that's how Spike sees Hatred. Not as a guardian angel, because Hatred isn't always, or hardly, a kind person. Thus, demon. And shapeshifter; here he's probably in his more unfinished form, since he lacks his greasy, black hair, and his eyes aren't that terrifying now.
Spike is scared of Hatred, at the same time as he keeps him company and protects him.

I won't babble too much about these two just now. :P


but I hope you guys like this new version :aww:



(man, it feels nice drawing something dark, after having made so many happy and colorful drawings lately :XD: )

I like this one better too, I think it's more of your style anyway :D And yeah, same; sometimes you want happy cutesy things and sometimes you just want dark.

very very VERY cool. i think i like the darker version of this. The colour definitely lends even more to the awesomely drawn picture. that large, scary looking wolf is really well done .

Agreed, the drawing is better in this one but the ambience was more mmm dark? rough? intense? in the previous one. Anyway, they are both nice and as all this sort of works from you, I find it unexpectedly comforting. Thanks for sharing!

I like this one more, It gives a more detailled and clean look because of the LineArt.
maybe A miss a bit of red, or something that stands out.
