second Spike Plushie complete!yep, I've finished my second Spike plushie, and I might put him up for sale - I just gotta figure out a nice price for him first.. (feel free to come with suggestions!

He's made of soft 'minky' fabric, and faux 'luxury shag' fur for his hair - which is very easy to style; no need for hair gel

He's approximately 20 cm tall from toe to ear. He has small buttons for eyes, and he's just very soft and cuddly

Took me a total of four days to finish three illustrations on that wall, where one was really big. I forgot to ask whether I can post some photos of it or not, but I'll see if I can ask my commissioner today. I'm just very forgetful...

update two:
I'm going to a particular hobby store today to see if they have the type of fabric I need to make the Sam and Spike plushies

On the store's website (or online store) they had all the fabric I need to make the Spike plushie. The fabric for the Sam plushie (and others, like Lillith for instance) I'll have to order from Etsy or some other site that sells the type of fabric I need.
But if this store I'm going to today have what I need, then I'll be able to make the first Spike plushie real soon

I can't afford a whole lot of fabric at this point, so I might only have enough for one or two Spike plushies.. If I can make two of them, them I can probably sell one (I want to keep jus

I'm planning on dyeing my hair white. In case someone found that interesting..

If white doesn't look good, there's always those many bottles of Manic Panic and Stargazer dyes in my bathroom closet. They're all different types of blue and turquoise.
I'm starting to grow a bit tired of blue hair though... -___-' I kinda miss having black hair. It's more... me, I think.

updates :BHello!

I'd totally forgot to update you guys, and decided to do it now after getting a little reminder

Well, the mural thingy is done. At last.
Not too happy with the result as the board that I was painting on had the wrong base coat of paint. It was too smooth for the paint to stick, so I had to paint over the same area several times

and it still didn't look good.
I do have photos. Might post some of them later..
And yes, I wasn't really painting on a wall; I was painting on a large board that's going to be hung up on a wall. And I was painting characters that were representing certain historical ages as this was to be an historical timeline.
I've also been commissioned to do the exact same thing on another elementary school, and there are rumors that a third elementary school wants one too..!

And on top of that, I've been commissioned by someone else to do a real mural, on an actual wall (brick wall or concrete wall of sorts). A huge wall, too! So I'm looking forward

an introduction to my Anthro universe.. :PI got a question the other day, about what dog breed Sam and Saunders in their anthro form is supposed to be.
I started answering the comment, but soon found out it would just end up being a looooong reply... And I thought, as I wrote, that maybe others would be interested in what breed they and their relatives are, as well as Spike's breed, some character origins, how the people (or anthro) in my little fictive universe views their fellow inhabitants, and a bit of history around this whole thing.
Therefore, I'm deciding on writing a journal entry about this.
First of:
The different breeds.
Saunders and Sam were originally, when I first created and designed them, supposed to be Golden Retrievers. Thus, they did in fact both have floppy, furry ears just like the Golden has. For some reason, I felt this made the characters look sad, so I changed - I think - Saunders' ears first to stand up just like a Terrier's ears. Sam's ears changed shortly after. I kept this change as I thought it ma

Christmas Greetings!

Just dropping by to wish you all, every single one of you, a fantastic and merry Christmas!

My apologies for not having drawn any Christmas stuff (yet) this year... I've been far too busy with Christmas preparations..

I'm happy to say though, that I have finally got myself a laptop again!

I've been using a desktop computer for the last.. I dunno, is it two years now? Three? Anyways, I've really missed having the oportunity to bring my computer around with me, and especially the oportunity to just sit somewhere comfy with the computer on my lap and just write..! Or draw, for that matter

I got this computer yesterday (early Christmas present for myself? lawl

) and it's really powerful for a laptop, methinks. So hopefully, and most likely, it will handle Photoshop like a dream. It's got Windows 8 though, which almost was a dealbreaker for me, but I figured, hey, I like trying out new, technological stuff, so why not give it a try? And I gotta say, I was really sceptical about it at first, but I'm starting to really like Windows 8. Sure, it's got a few things to improve on, but it's no biggie..

I'll stop babbling about my laptop now... I'm just really, really pleased with it, so it's fun to babble a bit about it.

We're going to drive to my dad's place today and stay there for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to it

We'll have my whole family gathered, and my lovely ~Gatlix will be there with me too <3
Marcie (our dog) will join as well, but my fish and Janus (our cat) will stay at home. We've got someone to look after them, so they'll all be fine, but I still think it's a little sad leaving Janus home alone on Christmas eve, despite him having the whole house to himself, and all the delicious food we bought for him. I think he'll be just fine though.

..myep, I think that's all I have of the updates for now.
I've found some time to write a bit more on "SPIKE" though

Can't wait to continue writing some more!
