second Spike Plushie complete!

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 21, 2012, 3:20 PM

yep, I've finished my second Spike plushie, and I might put him up for sale - I just gotta figure out a nice price for him first.. (feel free to come with suggestions! ;) )

I've taken some photos of him with my cellphone. I'll take some better photos of him with my camera later. But I uploaded those cellphone photos to my Photobucket account in a public folder, so hopefully you'll be able to see him here:

(I hope the link works.. :p )

He's made of soft 'minky' fabric, and faux 'luxury shag' fur for his hair - which is very easy to style; no need for hair gel ;)
He's approximately 20 cm tall from toe to ear. He has small buttons for eyes, and he's just very soft and cuddly :meow:

I'd say a reasonable price d be about three or four times the cost of materials, plus shipping.
That might seem steep to some, but it really isn't, compared to the normal crap people can buy. :p
But, it's spike...
... so make it times ten :3
Also, it looks much more refined than the original, almost like you've already made ten of them C:

It looks really nice actually. I recognize the fur from a plushie that's sitting on my desk here, and it's pretty much the best kind to use for plushies if you ask me =D
So how's the Lillith plushie going?

I agree with you on the fur; it's incredibly soft and the best kind for a plushie, which is why I chose to use that type of fabric :) even his hair is soft! It's like cotton.. :aww:

I've already ordered the needed fabric for a Lillith plushie, so once the package with my fabric arrives in the mail, I'll get started on making the first Lillith one ;) (she'll be made in the same type of fabric, only different colors :) )

I'm personally not into plushies very much, but it's obvious that you took a lot of care into making him! I'm sure you can sell him for a hefty price. :)
