Just wanted to apologize for not having been very active here on DA lately, and I kinda felt I should let you know why;

The usual answer to this that I have is "I've been busy," which I somehow often am.
I've got a couple of non-internet-related illustration commissions, that I can't tell you more about yet (sort of classified information until it's all ready/finished/published)

So, while I do think they're really fun commissions to work with, they do take up most of my time, art wise.
And when I'm not drawing, I'm at my new job. I don't work at a pet store anymore I've actually worked at three pet stores since I moved here..! First and second one I absolutely loved! So it was really sad when I had to find new jobs... And no, I didn't get fired. the reasons I had to change jobs were mainly due to, well, different reasons, like the store closing and stuff.. The third pet store I decided to leave after a while, because that place just didn't feel right. And I think it's important to love your job, or at least like it a lot and look forward to going to work.
Anyways, this new job is at a school where I teach art and stuff. So far I love it there

So basically, lack of extra time on my hands is why I don't post much art. And it's hard to get inspired too, when all my focus is on those other things, you know?

I'm really happy, though, about the fantastic response I received from you guys on my Cain and Frick comic!
I mean, I didn't like that comic much at all, especially after some criticism I got on it last year... Honestly though, seeing all your positive and eager comments just made my day/week/month, and made me even more determined to finish the whole comic some day - only it'll have to be after "SPIKE" is done.

Speaking of which; more chapters have been made! But, due to the same reasons as why I haven't been very productive art-wise, I haven't written in a long, long while now. At least it feels like a long while since the last time I wrote those chapters..
I have taken lots of notes though, on what I think should happen next and so on XD I mean, I have the plot figured out, I had that figured out quite some time ago, but I've been working on the details around the plot, which basically is the chapters.

Well, I better get back to work again. I've got a deadline today
But I'll try to find the time to make some more art, and reply to your notes and comments (sorry for not having been any good at replying to you guys...  ).

By the way, though;
My DA chatroom is up and running now.
since I'm working at home in my "home-office" lately, I'm by the computer as good as every day now. So I'm on the chat quite often if anyone feel like chatting
