Jason's got a thing for musical instruments, and will go to concerts as a fan of the band's musical gear rather than the actual band
So breaking an instrument in front of Jason will break his heart as well

also, some of you may have already noticed the little cameo in the background crowd in that last panel? A little 'easter egg' is that the band playing is a fictional one I made years ago called "Bottled Madness" who were Spike's favorite band (they had a drummer called Spike Lynx, which is why Spike got curious about the band in the first place. Name-brothers ftw!  ). Lillith has a thing for them too, but she's probably busy trying to get backstage access, so no cameo for her XD
